About the Event
This is our new location for the Bonney Lake star party. Come out to Discovery Park in Tehaleh and enjoy some stargazing with members of the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS). Everyone is welcome.
We urge people to keep dogs on leashes away from the telescopes, they inadvertently can get tangled up in the tripod legs and pull a telescope over.
Experienced astronomer volunteers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) bring their telescopes and binoculars to share with the public.
It gets chilly at night so dress warm and bring a comfy chair to sit in and a warm drink. If you have your own telescope or binoculars bring it.
This site does have a lot of mosquitoes so you may want to wear long sleeves and apply mosquito spray.
